Our library website occasionally becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control. When this happens, here are some ways you can find what you need…and you can always email email@example.com if you’re completely stumped and we’ll try to help!
- Use WorldCat to find out whether we’ve got the title you’re looking for. Find the title, type in our zip code (10011) in the “enter your location” spot, and you’ll be able to tell easily if we have the title. We can get the specific location for you — call (646.717.9784) or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you need help.
- Use your NYPL library card to get access (from home!) to many useful electronic databases. Remember in orientation how we strongly suggested you get a NYPL library card? Follow this link to get to the databases, and click here to go about getting a card.
- You can use Google Scholar or other strategies to find article citations. Email your reference librarian at email@example.com with the information you have, and that article might just get emailed right back to you!
